Statement of Faith

Our belief concerning the Bible

We believe the Bible to be God’s written truth to man and that it is inspired, authoritative and without error in its teaching.

Our belief concerning God

We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Our belief concerning Jesus

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

Our belief concerning the Holy Spirit and Sanctification

We believe in the sanctifying experience and power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables us to live a Holy and Godly life in this present world.

Our belief concerning Sin & Salvation

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. Only through faith, trusting and repentance (in Christ alone for salvation) can that alienation be removed.

Our belief concerning Church Unity

We believe in the unity of believers. Our desire is what the Lord prayed in John 17, … “That they may be one as we are one. May they be brought to complete unity.” We also believe in being peacemakers and speaking well of one another and not gossiping, but speaking the truth to each other in love.

Our belief concerning the Rapture

We believe in the blessed hope that Christ will return for those who have fully surrendered to Him. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved, unto the resurrection of life in heaven and they that are lost, unto the resurrection of condemnation.

Our belief concerning what we own

While on this earth we realize this isn’t our permanent home, but we look forward to heaven. While here on earth as believers we will treat our assets with generosity, knowing that all we have is the Lord’s and at His disposal.
